He had been trying to RuneScape gold complete Dragon Slayer. Someone on the pier fished/cooked 22 lobsters for him. While doing this, we requested his stats. His answer was (approximately) level 40 assault, 40 strength, 40 defense, very low level rangedmagic, 15 prayer. I remember reading about what att/str/def level you should be at, and what armor/food/supplies you should deliver, so I advised him that too wearing a (rune full) helmet would be useful when he was likely to face Elvarg. But the person went straight for the battle with Elvarg. I ceased fishing and chose to watch the fight. (Aside: Here's about what I defeated Elvarg with. Note that I was not very curious about Runescape quests when I played, so I probably could have attempted the Dragon Slayer quest sooner than I did... Attack 41, Strength 55, Defense 45, prayer 43. I attracted armor/supplies close to exactly what Sal's website urges. I'd recommend the same armor/supplies to anyone trying to conquer Elvarg, except an amulet of power instead of the holy emblem, and a rune scimitar in place of the rune longsword).
The guy did a great job of beating Elvarg! He didn't turn on prayer at all. (Aside: I recall Elvarg being tough to defeat. The weird thing is, for each of the higher att/str/def/prayer/armor I had, it seemed like he had a simpler struggle against Elvarg than that did. I know that it is probably because I was not facing the dragonfire myself, that it appeared easier when he fought with the dragon compared to once I did. I guess the prerequisites for Dragon Slayer aren't as elevated as I thought?
(2) that I wasn't wearing any armor while fishing at Musa Point. After the man headed to the volcano, then I didn't have time to run to the bank and get some armor. So I just went without armor. I ran past it but it followed me. I was busy seeing the man fight Elvarg, but that I did have auto-retaliate on. I kept an eye on what was going on around me while watching the fight against Elvarg. I was able to defeat the Lesser Demon with kicking. The Elvarg fight was not yet finished, along with a skeleton decided it wanted to fight meso I defeated the horns with auto-retaliate hanging, also. I hadn't before attempted to conquer a Lesser Demon by kicking - it was a fantastic experience.
Which F2P creature gives the best total loot? *NOT* the most valuable single thing fall, but the most value over a long session of beating the stated given creature? I have seen a range of individuals choose level 83 cockroach soldiers at the Stronghold of Player Safety. Maybe Members fighting with the"F2P" level 83 cockroach soldiers get good drops, but there is no way that level 83 cockroach soldiers provide the best drops in F2P. So a member finding the cockroach soldiers provide excellent drops, that OSRS buy gold does not count as a good F2P drop (that is a P2P fall ).
